My college is intent on screwing me out of money. I tried very hard to find a solution to my financial aid difficulties outlined in a previous post, but it fell through. I am not surprised. It is too late in the session to be adding classes. My parents are going to be vexed, but there's nothing else I can do by now

Have you checked with an outside loan source? Chase bank and discover card both do low interest student loans. I had to do that private loan route to pay for my summer school once, and they respond usually within a week and could give you money to pay off what you already spent.
