I think withdrawing from the world gets a bad reputation that it doesn't always deserve. Sometimes it's good to take a break from people. It makes you appreciate them more when you come back into the world. And then you get to enjoy the experience of rediscovering the world--or at least revisiting things with a fresh perspective.
