First week of work was...pretty much what I expected. It's work, but the atmosphere is pretty laid back, and there are always different projects to be worked on, which keeps it interesting. Last day of classes was on Friday, and my dead week was the kind that leaves a person dead after the end of it.  I had: 4 homework assignments, 3 projects, and a presentation all due during the course of the week. It was rad, basically.

So, the ASCE conference in Arkansas was this weekend. We didn't have the worst canoe, but we didn't have the best either. It's the experience that counts, right? Ok, I'm a little surprised we didn't win in at least the Design Paper or Oral Presentation categories...hmmm, there may have been some local favoritism among the judges? Tequila is no longer by friend. We had an ugly fight by the toilet...I lost, obviously.
