I'm seriously considering taking out a loan to buy a 2002 to 2005 Yamaha R1. Depending on the price of the bike, the I would be paying $160-$210 a month for the bike, plus $145 for insurance. Nick has been pressuring me to buy a bike, he just bought a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 6R, I looked at it and sat on it Saturday night, it's a fucking awesome machine. He knows I want a bike bad, he's not going to stop bitching 'till I buy one, too!
I've been looking at used bikes online all day and found about 5 badass ones ranging from $6500 to $8500. I'd probably get the loan for a few hundred more than the bike so I could get some gear as well.
Here's the bikes I've been looking at... of course, by the time I finaly decide if I'm going to do it, most if not all will probably be sold.
This one is a serious contender for my money
