It's not on my Yahoo Calendar for some reason, but today's officially the first day of spring. So why the hell is it so damn cold outside? Really though, it's much more mild than it was last year at this time, so I think that means we'll have a nice, long spring. It better not be two weeks long like it was last year. We had elphabagels at work again today, in honor of St. Patrick's Day. This year I was brave enough to actually try one. They're just plain bagels with green food coloring, so they shouldn't taste weird. But... they tasted weird. Sort of like... lots of green food coloring.

At my office, in addition to coffee, we have hot chocolate. It's not the greatest hot chocolate (because it's made with water and powder instead of milk and syrup), but it's still hot chocolate. It snowed a lot on Saturday night and Sunday. I posted a few cameraphone photos on flickr.

I've been working at this location for over a year now, and today I found out that the quarts of milk in the refrigerator are supplied by the company for anyone to use. I always thought that they belonged to an individual, because the refrigerators are there for the purpose of storing employees' personal food. All this time I've been drinking ( Read more... )

Has anyone else tried Sara Lee Chocolate-Dipped Cheesecake Bites? They're really good. They're like bon-bons, but filled with cheesecake (including the crust) instead of ice cream. And just one is enough to satisfy you for dessert, yet it's only eighty calories. Go buy some and try them.
