When I started my program at Hopkins, I started in DC, where I met a funky, tattooed writer with two-tone hair who made jewelry and reluctantly lived in the DC suburb of Alexandria so her daughter could attend the better schools there. I think a lot of people feel the same, maybe even the ones you live near. Writers just know how to express it more poignantly. You'll be all right. Listen to Bob Barley's 'Three Little Birds."
