Bolly's ability to immediately obtain a stacked plate of sausage rolls at any gathering that offered them was unparalleled. His present for Sylvie, a large crocheted soft toy snake with button eyes, felt tongue, and a tickle-triggered animation charm that made it wriggle when you scratched its head, had taken him until basically the last second to finish, and he felt he deserved a reward.

"Are you learning healing stuff too?" Bolly asked with interest. "You could be a healer!"

"No, but I could probably learn. I don't know if I want to be a healer," Sylvie said. "I've been learning guitar. I told Cade I could totally be a musician. I'd be good at that, I think."

"Dad says, if you can act, sing, dance, take instruction, and hit your cues consistently every time, every production in town will want you."

Sylvie thinks about it, "I can act, I can dance, I can hit cues and take instruction...I think I can sing. I took voice lessons when I was little. I'm not terrible."

"You should have- oh. I was gonna say 'come to our Karaoke party', but we had it during the Valentine's Day dance, and you arranged that one, so you could hardly skip it!"

Sylvie shakes her head,"Nope. I couldn't and I would have wanted to. I planned a damn good dance. Hopefully prom will be as good," she said.

"Which I also don't get to go to," Bolly huffed, only mostly fakely.

"You could try to get a seventh year to take you as their date," Sylvie suggested. "i mean, technically I can't go either. Even if I plan it, I still have to have a seventh year escort."

Bolly pulls a face. "Any seventh year that would date a first year shouldn't be allowed to date."

Sylvie rolls her eyes, "Obviously I'm not encouraging your to actually date a seventh year. People can go as friends to events."

"I guess, but I still think it's weird." He shrugs. "You have your boyfriend to take you, so you don't have a problem. And Blue said they were going to arrange consolation parties for the younger years. He didn't actually say 'consolation'," Bolly quickly admits. "He was genuinely trying to be nice. Blue is a good person."

"He is. He just wants everyone to be happy. So parties for everyone!" She said.

"Did you guys pick a theme yet? I still want you all to do a future theme," Bolly added, "because the costumes would be super cool, and also because I wanna see Blue dressed as a robot."

"We haven't picked the theme yet," Sylvie said. "Future theme is on the list though so we'll see!"

"I should try and convince Sofie it was her idea, because they she will convince Blue," Bolly giggles.
