[OOC: Sorry for the musical dreams? XD; When I heard this song in my iPod, I just had to make a dream based on it :P Oh o: in this dream, Iris has red hair and Phoenix calls her "Dollie". The only people who would know that it IS Iris would be Phoenix himself and possibly Edgeworth]
The dream resembles a "music montage" used in countless romantic comedies. It starts with a young Phoenix Wright walking Iris back to her dorm in Ivy University. The boy had accompanied her in the library and the two of them just lost track of time. Their chatter and laughter died when they reached Iris' door.
There you see her, sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say but there's something about her
And you don't know why but you're dying to try
You wanna kiss girl.
"Thank you for walking me back Feenie." she leans on and door and smiles up at Phoenix.
"A-ah, no problem Dollie." he gulps, hoping he wouldn't lose his nerve.
He leans in and...
Click. The door opens. "Good night." Iris already went inside.
Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do
It's possible she wants you too
There's one way to ask her
It don't take a word, not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl (kiss the girl)
The scene changes to the two of them walking in the hallways. They were so engrossed in their conversation they failed to notice a student carrying paint jars crashing into Phoenix. The student apologizes and left to get something to clean the boy up.
"Feenie! Are you all right??" she promptly kneels beside him, checking his head for bumps.
"Nggh," he gave her a rather goofy smile and replies, "Kiss it better?"
"No!" Iris laughs. "You're all covered in paint!"
"BUT DOLLLLLIIIIEEEEEEE!"
Sha la la la la, my oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl
Sha la la la la, ain't that sad
it's such a shame, too bad
You're gonna miss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl (kiss the girl)
Now's your moment, floating in a blue lagoon
Boy, you better do it soon, the time will be better
She don't say a word and she won't say a word
Until you kiss the girl (kiss the girl)
Phoenix has a favorite tree on campus. He calls it his "drawing tree" and he sometimes invites Iris to sit under the shade of it. The moment was perfect. The wind was blowing, reeking havoc on his girlfriend's hair. He only needed to reach over, tuck a stray hair behind her ear, and kiss her.
Simple, right?
Tell that to the squirrel who decided to come down from the tree, looking for nuts.
Sha la la la la, my, oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl
Sha la la la la, ain't that sad
It's such a shame, too bad
You're gonna miss the girl
Sha la la la la
Don't be scared
You better be prepared
Go on and kiss the girl
Sha la la la la
Don't stop now
Don't try to hide it how
You wanna kiss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl
The couple found themselves at Iris' dorm once again. Phoenix, dejected and tired from the multiple failed attempts from the day, didn't even attempt to kiss her there and then.
He was in for a surprise.
Before he could say anything, Iris stood on her tiptoes and gently brushed her lips against his.
"Good night Feenie." Click
Even after she went inside, he still stood outside her dorm, that silly grin still plastered on his face.
Go on and kiss the girl~~
[she wakes up, gasping.] ... [quickly covers her blushing face with her pillow] Oh no...
