So this was actually happening and despite all nerves Annie actually felt pretty good about this, excited, because this was what she wanted. He was what she wanted now she just had to hope it was possible, that her clothes weren't quite as permanent as she'd always thought

Mitchell smiled softly taking her hand feeling greatful for the lack of nervous sweat and racing heart. "Bedroom"

It was nice to know there were some advantages to being dead, although since she was sure she could still feel her non-existant heart beating too quickly. That was the thing about being a 'solid' ghost she wasn't really sure what was there and what wasn't and it wasn't the sort of thing you really get answers to.

She squeezed his hand, reassuring herself that she wasn't suddenly going to disappear, although that probably didn't too much did it because he'd always been able to see her hadn't he? She'd been a proper invisible ghost the first time they'd accidently kissed, the memory of which made her smile faintly to herself as she stepped up onto the first stair leading the way up slowly. This was really happening wasn't it? God she hoped he was right about the clothes or she might actually start accidently blowing stuff up in frustration.

"Are you nervous?" he asked softly as he led her slowly up the stairs. "Cause..... you shouldn't be. I can be gentle, and you don't smell of blood so....." he looked awkward "You can.....back out"

"I suppose...a bit yeah," she conceded, "not-not because of that though.I know you're not going to...hurt me whatever. It's just been a while, you know and Owen..." she trailed off not quite sure what to say there. Surfice to say none of it was especially good. She slipped her arm around loosely around his waist. "I don't want to back out, Mitchell. Really."
