Having turned the computer off Annie made her way down to find Mitchell, she worried too much about him and George really under the circumstances. It wasn't as if they couldn't look after themselves was it? Or maybe they couldn't? Maybe none of them could, that was why they needed each other ( Read more... )

Mitchell rushed down the street, the collar of his jacket turned up his baseball cap pulled low. There were still traces of blood on his jeans and shirt, and a speck or two on his face. He perhaps should have taken more time to clean before coming home but having been sitting in the hotel on the computer he'd felt so much like an addict he had to get out of there.

He thumbled a moment with his key before swinging the door open. "I just need to wash up first Annie" he called out as he immediately went for the stairs.

"Oh I'll make tea then shall I?" She called up after him, glad for a little time to be able to make him a cuppa, because situation like these needed tea didn't they? Of course in Annie's mind any situation ever was improved with tea but that was neither here not there.

She took her time in the kitchen, not sure how long Mitchell would be and not wanting to bother him while he did whatever exactly it was doing.

Because she could never make only one cup she made one for them both then went back into the living room, trying not to let her imagination run away with her. She knew he was a vampire after all, so she had at least a vague idea of what sort of thing was likely to be the problem and she could cope, because it wasn't really Mitchell's fault was it?

Mitchell grabbed some fresh clothes from his room before going to the bathroom glad it was free.

Mitchell stripped off quickly washing off the last of the blood on his skin he threw his clothes into the washing basket and made sure he was clean before grabbing a fresh shirt and jeans.

Clean and fresh he started at the blood water that was now running out of the sink and down the drain.

He ran wet hands through his dark hair before letting out a deep breath and going back down stairs looking fare more relaxed than he'd felt only a few minutes ago.

He walked into the living room and smiled seeing the tea. "Thanks Annie"

"You know me, always happiest making tea, since it's about the only really useful thing I do around here," she said with a little shrug, patting the sofa beside her.

"So this bad thing?" she asked, not convinced Mitchell was going to talk about it unless she pressed things a little.
