Where the hell do you get "Hoosier" out of "Indiana"?

College is fun. I am sometimes homesick, but mostly for my cats and for driving and baths.

And what is with being able to see if someone is online on LJ now? I think everything. Everything. Is trying to make you as much of a stalker as possible.

Yeah, I thought Hoosiers were just the IU mascot, but all people who live in Indiana are called "hoosiers". I asked my roommate, "so what do they call you, Indians?" and she, of course, looked at me like I'm stupid. Like Michiganders is much better.
