Tonight is one of my most favorite things.  The sky is clear and the moon is full and bright.  So bright.  It's a Supermoon, after all.  It's cold and windy, and the shadows of the trees are stretched long on newly fallen snow.  It's clean and so light you could easily take a walk and never stumble.  It's 2AM and I could sit out here on the porch

It really was. The lunar eclipse was pretty spectacular, too. ::g:: But, for me, the real show started afterwards. It's so rare when all the elements come together - the moon, the clear sky, the snow. I'm hoping for an encore tonight!

It really was. We did have an encore! :-) But I don't think we'll be having a three-peat as clouds have moved in. Ah, well...
