Curiously, here, shortages are in the renovation area (lumber and other things in the domain).

I guess, since nobody travelled this year, they decided to invest in their houses.

We've made due here with shortages and are in good shape, but I do wish the soap shelves would start to fill up again. That's the one thing that doesn't seem to be catching up.

I thought you might be counting the days until autumn. How has the summer been for you? In my part of the UK we have been tremendously lucky; only a few days have got really hot (and even then not really hot compared with other parts of the UK or Europe or the US).

Our summer started out all right. It really didn't get super hot till about mid-summer. Mind you, for me, high 60s is too hot (and low 60s is iffy), so it was still too hot for me in the 80s but it was blessedly better than what we've had in July and August. And we're not done yet according to the TV weather guys. Ugh.

I have given up trying up to work out what Trump is doing other than trying to get another 4 years in that big office so he destroys the rest of the relationships with America.

I can understand that. We have the same thing over here sometimes.

I did read a fun twitter idea that was to just add the word "Mommy" to the front of every one of Trumps twits make them much more understandable.

I really hope that things work out for your country in November until then the COVID stuff gets more settled down just by people power.

LOL! Sadly, I think it's impossible to make his tweets understandable, though. Coherency is not a strong suit.
