On Monday, we had a light dusting of snow during the day, which was surprising because, until the day before, the local weather people had made no mention of the possibility of snow in their long range forecast for the week. It was lovely and lifting to my spirits, but all too brief, then gone. Then comes today. Temps in the 20s, snow anywhere from

We got snow too this week, though not the predicted amount. Though a lot of it was horizontal.

Hope your mother stays healthy!

Thank you! I hope so, too. We're trying really hard to keep her that way. :-) Though it's hard to slow her down, even with mobility issues.

We didn't get as much snow as predicted - it turned over to sleet for awhile - but it was still a really big storm for December in these parts, top five in the record book. Luckily, we still have it on the ground because it stayed cold. \o/ But it's probably going to rain tomorrow, so, alas. :-(

I hope it's warmed up for you and that you'll have a wonderful holiday. :-)

Goodbye snow!

It will be a rather quiet Christmas. Can only visit with one person at a time.
And the one I was supposed to visit tomorrow is down with back/shoulder problems.
Might be because of all the bookshelves she helped me move last week :-(

Snow! How lovely for you. I'm really happy for you; I understand the excitement very well.

I'm glad to hear your mom is in good health, apart from mobility issues and I'm sure she's grateful to have you to help her - it's lovely you are able to help her.

I hope you are able to find a way to balance things and get back to being online a bit more. I certainly miss you. But I understand how much time helping can take up.

Covid free here and whilst we haven't had any snow *sighs* and it's somewhat milder than I think it should be, I'm enjoying it not being summer *g* We are nice and Christmassy here - it's very pretty.

You take care of you and I hope your mom remains in good heath. In case you don't get back Happy Christmas to you & here's to 2021 being a much better year for all of us.

Thank you! We've still got it on the ground, too! Sadly, it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so it'll probably go away, but we've had it a week and I'll take a week. :-) We didn't get as much as predicted, but it was still enough to make the top five snows for December here. \o/

Mom really is doing well, thank you, except for that. So we're doing our best to keep her that way. ::nods firmly::

Aw, thank you. :-) I really do miss my online life, too, and I admit I'm feeling rather stressed these days. I don't make New Year's resolutions, but I am going to give it my best to relax online a bit more going forward. I think it'll help.

I'm very glad that Covid is staying away from you, but not that the snow is, too! I hope you will get some soon, maybe in time to make that Christmas even prettier.

We were really lucky with the snow. In spite of torrential rain on Christmas Eve, the snow banks stuck around and we had flurries for hours on Christmas Day! That counts as a White Christmas to me. :-)

I hope you've had some snow by now, or will soon, if not. Ours is gone now, so I'm hoping for more, too. ::g:: Of course, I can hardly tear my eyes away from the news right now to have time to look at snow, but it might help de-stress me!
