Yesterday the four of us (Sarah, Cass, Justin and I) took canoes out onto Lake Washington for a relaxing paddle through the arboretum. After having our fun swimming and riding some wake, we headed back towards the dock to return our rentals. As we approach the last 1/2 mile we spotted a capsized canoe with three somewhat helpless, frantic women. ( Read more... )

I'm glad you are having a good time, Natalie! I commend you on this wonderful deed on the part of you and your friends. Though making fun of the women is really not so nice, you all should be proud of the help you provided! Thank God you all were there!

indeed. These women were in dire need of rescue, but they were also very rude about the whole ordeal. Our comments were merely to diffuse the irritation we suffered from having spent a full hour helping people who grumbled about the much needed assistance. I'm sure you get your fair share in the doctor's office..I'm just guessing though.

1.)Cassidy's race car video game music

2.)I can tolerate the 18 year olds with smuggled alcohol as long as there's lots of food and sarah, cass, and justin by my side to take it all in (ridicule it all).
- because we were NEVER that ridiculous, ever! =)

3.) the goodness of our deed AND the fact that they were right stupid. I'm sorry, but WHO JUMPS OUT OF A CANOE? wtf? *shaking head* good times. We went out again yesterday, with Ariel...we circled back the same way, and I swear to goodness, my arms started to ache as we got through those waters again.
