Inspired by my really cold feet and the peaceful video of rain I’m listening to. xD
Donna hated thunder enough on Earth; more on another planet. Tonight she asked of the Doctor something she normally wouldn’t, but didn’t regret it as much as she thought. He watched her close her eyes next to him, coiled close under the blankets. He started to drift into peaceful sleep, not minding the sky’s roaring, resting his temple on her forehead, the warmth radiating from her peaceful face tickling his skin and her scent occupying his air. She can feel the numbing sting in her feet melt as they tangle with his, and she feels safe, more than ever before.
