Theo opens a portal to Dessa's home town and hops right through, pulling Cassie along with him. It's near midnight now, and he looks around, silver eyes flashing in the moonlight. "Do you know where we are?" he asks the little girl.

She looks around. "No. Where are we?"

"We're where your mom grew up before she met your daddy." He starts to walk, in an easy pace for the little girl to keep up with him.

She keeps up with no problem, almost bouncing along, definately approaching sheer hyperactivity. "Never been here. Where is it?"

[theo_lunaric]

"Iowa, I think." he steers her along as they walk through the empty streets, down towards the church.
