I went to prom last night. I went out to dinner with some other teachers beforehand. We went to the Columbus Brewing Company, which was just a big tease because we weren't drinking before the dance. First, that hexagon thing is amazing. Second, the coak check was demanding when it was 70 outside? Third and finally, those parents need a good, swift kick. I have a lot more to say on that, but I can feel it turning into a rant and I don't want to harsh my own spring day mellow.

I think I would HAVE to have a drink if I were going to chaperone a prom. Of course, that's what makes me a bad choice for chaperone. Plus, I like to dance and that probably would also be inappropriate.

I would be willing to risk the inappropriateness for some good ol' Melisa dancing. I had to resist the temptation myself, 'cuz you know how I love my Gnarls Barkley. Also some song by some chick who doesn't think some dude has a good girlfriend currently, and that he should date this chick instead. I love that song.
