Bandaid fun

Had another monitoring appointment today. She didn’t do an overall follicle count but she measured a bunch of big ones and then said I had 9 on the right and 7 on the left that she DIDN’T measure. When I talked to my nurse she said I had 11 that were measured so I have 27 total. One more than I had on Friday. They told me to start ganirelix tomorrow morning which is the thing that stops me from ovulating. So hopefully I start getting more follicles growing. I was hoping I’d get like 50 so 27 is disappointing so far.

I started my job today. I have to say the reviews weren’t lying when they said the training was crap. This lady like ran through a PowerPoint and then just turned me loose on like four different websites I had to keep track of. They said to do practice notes but it’s really not self explanatory at all and then they act confused when you ask questions. They said to follow the template but also to follow the doctor’s specific workflow but since this is practice I don’t have access to the EMR yet so I can’t follow their workflow. So what they really wanted was to just see if I could glean all the relevant information from the recording. Which…they could’ve just said that. And I have five days of training but I need to complete this whole list of practice by tomorrow? Idk. I hope it gets better. It’s not hard for sure, it’s just tedious and annoying when you have no idea what to do and no one is really giving you direction.

Anyway I’m enjoying my fun bandaids. Most people don’t use them for the belly shots because you don’t bleed from those but I like keeping track of exactly where I poked. Especially since I need to add a third shot in tomorrow.
