6 embryos

So we got 6. We got 4 on day 5 and then two more on day 6, the rest didn’t develop past morula. So they did biopsies and sent them for the pgt. I’m nervous about it because I feel like we’re only going to get 1-2 normal. And I was just really hoping to have a few to freeze for later. I also really want a girl.

The quality wasn’t super great either. I mean it was okay. We got two 4AB and then four 4BB. Which is not bad, it’s just not the best.

I did see some people who got like 80-90% back on pgt. So it does happen. But it’s usually more like 50% or less. I guess if we got 3 and one was a girl and it worked on the first transfer it would matter. It’s just so nerve wracking.

I think I’ve convinced Chris to keep Snick here at least through the winter. We’re switching him to pasture board, which is fine because I’m less worried about him in the cold than the heat. The bugs will die in the cold and I can just get him a neck cover for the freezing nights. He has a shelter in the big field too and Winslow’s field. It saves us about 125 a month. And it’s about half my monthly paycheck. But that’s pretty much why I started working was to be able to keep him here.

The job is going okay I think. It’s been super slow the last few days. And they don’t have anything else for us to do so I just sit there getting paid to watch tv or whatever. Refreshing the page hoping notes come in. I assume it’ll pick up because I know they’ve been adding new doctors. It just kind of makes me wish they’d switch me to a different shift. Like a m-f day shift. Working til 7 just blows. But it’s starting to get easier and I’m making fewer and fewer mistakes. It’s all just so subjective depending on what coach grades my stuff and I’ve been getting so many conflicting corrections and the training supervisor lady just brushes it off. Oh well. It’s easy and it’s money.
