Hang in there, and good luck. Having been burgled twice at one of my previous haunts I know how it feels like an invasion of one's home and privacy.
I hope that nothing truly personal was lost and that the insurance company takes care of the merely material loss, and that they catch the fucking bastard(s) that did it.

Nothing personal was taken, but the place just feels like a room right now, not 'My Flat'. They will never catch the crooks, the CSI man didn't find anything, there's no CCTV and no one saw anything.

I think it's just something I'll get over with a bit of time, but right now I feel somewhat rattled.

The feeling does pass eventually, i was burgled once, and several years later i had a call from the police who said i may need to go to court because they had found the group who had done it, something about linking crimes? Anyway they admited it so i didn't get my day in court....
