Ash and Huntress were amazing! They're classified as "young adult fantasy gay novels" because the protagonists are women who fall in love but really that's just part of the overall, bigger story. The two books are actually completely different and unrelated; Huntress is technically a prequel to Ash, but takes place many centuries earlier and therefore is completely different.
Ash is a Cinderella retelling with faeries and faery folklore.
Huntress is also about the fae kingdom, and a group of people who go on a journey there to save their land from the drought they have been having. A great adventure with some deliciously creepy bits.
Both stories are written beautifully; I'd highly recommend them.
