the link did not work but that is really awesome that you get to study pottery with the masters. it must make your stay in japan incredibly interesting. i went to brazil to study capoeira from the masters so that time was so precious to me... it felt like so much more than being the average gringa.

that guy looks really cool. japanese guys with beards just look really cool to me. i know jack in the crack about pottery but i still envy you. you don't look stoned... your eyes are very wide open actually. very open... it is almost frightening, lol.

link fixed. he is a cool guy, and he's taller than me, which means he fucking towers over the average japanese (i stand a respectable 6' 1", so he's massive) and the beard is impressive by any standards. the moniker "kuma" is apt i think.
jack in the crack. new to me. and brilliant.
how long did you study capoeira? always wanted to learn, but have no rhythm at all. i can barely nod in time with music.

i was in brazil for 6 months but i went there last year for a month too. to salvador... i have been doing capoeira for 3 years. my mestre (master) lived in seattle but was from brazil. you would be surprised how many people that have absolutely no rhythm play capoeira. they get by somehow.
