A Busy But Satisfying Day

Saturday April 4th was a busy day for us. King's College had an Easter Egg Hunt for the children (and grandchildren) of alumni. It was in the 40s, but the constant strong winds made it seem like it was much, much colder. I took both kids and after we registered, we headed over to the complimentary refreshment tables. That does sound like a lovely day. I remember when my kids would let me wrap my coat around them and snuggle if they were cold. . . oh, yeah, they will let me LEND THEM MY COAT still, but I don't get the snuggle. Of course, they're both so big now that I suppose it's an exercise in futility anyway.

We've had a lot of cold wind here too. A few people have been commenting lately that I look a bit tanned, but I think it's wind-burn! LOL
