Challenge 8 - Recasting
I chose for this challenge to use the show Rookie Blue. I decided to use characters from Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch much TV only a few shows and this one appealed to me the most plus I could really see some of these actors/actresses playing these characters and the on screen personalities of them all on Grey's vs Rookie Blue was the biggest deciding factor plus I kind of love the of Surgeons meet Police Force.....Plus i'm going to be honest...Jessica Capshaw or the image of Arizona in a police uniform....Yowzer!!!!

I chose Jessica Capshaw as Andy McNally because the on screen characters personalities to me are very similar. I see many of the same attributes of Andy in Arizona. There is almost a...softness to Andy's personality she comes off as non confrontational and almost too sweet but there like Arizona is so much more to her than meets the eye. Both of them are loyal, sweet, kind..and fiercely good at their jobs. I really think these two are similar in many ways
Here I have Jessie William's playing Chris Diaz. Both of them good looking guys! Both of them I feel give off a cockiness a lot of the time that isn't really there, I liken it to a little boy beating their chest. Both of them again there is more than their surface that meets the eye. Both can be confident with the ladies but also both very chivalrous at times.
Justin Chambers as Sam Swarek, the resident 'Bad Boys' of their respective show yet they aren't actually is why I chose this pairing. Both of them I find are mysterious in the way that it's hard to get a read on them. Their personalities are actually quite similar. They will go to any lengths to protect those that love them but do not have time for those who are not good people. They are both moody and can really not be the friendliest but both are fantastic at what they do and both really are good and decent men underneath all that bravado
This one was a little harder. Katherine as Gail Peck. The blonde thing was what first got me to do this pairing! I know pretty obvious but the main thing was both of their on screen characters feel at times that their looks allow people not to take them seriously. They are underestimated a lot until they do something great and then people reevaluate their thoughts on them.
Without a doubt the easiest choice to make! TR Knight as Dov Epstein! These two couldn't be more alike! Both in my opinion the nerdy of their follow groups! Both of them driven and passionate. While it might not be in their blood necessarily or natural born talent to do what they do, they both work so hard to prove themselves. Both of them not taken as seriously as the others in their respective careers but both very loving, kind and great men. They are both goofy and just all round so similar in every aspect
And lastly James as Frank Best! Another easy one to re-cast. Both of them the boss! The Chief! (And yes I know Richard isn't the chief now but he was and I still think of him as so) both of them carry wisdom and experience. Both of them have that tough exterior, know how to get the job done, will discipline if need but but also both have soft sides and really look out for their own.
Right so that is me! This challenge has honestly driven me insane! I had to re-do the whole thing over, then posted it not here in the on call room so tried to do that, it's taken me 5 attempts to get this right and get it posted!!!!! So I really hope this time round I have done it correctly
