LA's sweet. It took me a while to get my bearings and learn the streets...it's COMPLETELY different from Athens or any of Ohio...but I'm learning just fine and am really liking it a lot here already. There's some beautiful areas and really cool shopping centers outside not even 5 miles from where I live.

I GOT THE NICKELODEON INTERNSHIP IN CALIFORNIA THIS SUMMER!!!!That means I'm going to be working at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank in a few weeks! Nickelodeon got back to me and I have a 2nd (final) interview with them Friday at 2pm our time (10:00am Pacific--their time)!!! The show I'd be working on is a new series debuting on Nick Jr. in the fall aimed at preschoolers called "Ni Hao, Kai-lan!". It's about life growing up bi-cultural in America through the eyes of a 5 yr. old Chinese girl. ( Read more... )
