ok.. so Obama won. congrats I hope that there is enough dissent left in the senate to keep any heavy socialistic programs from going trough. I'll hope for the best. It's a historical day though. Time will tell what the future brings.

Dems def wont get to 60 Senators...

As of this post, Ted Stevens(R-AK) looks to be reelected despite his recent felony conviction...with him the max Dem gain would be at 57

2 races 2 close to call...one in Oregon and one in Minnesota involving Al Franken...

Yeah, I expected him to win. People are so tired of Bush's crap that they wanted something different. He's gonna screw stuff up like very president, but still I'm hopeful. After all, what else can we do but hope for best?

thanks for the optimisim! I think there is lots of possibility for him to do terrible shit.. but thats no different than now or if McCain won. let's all just hope for the best and vote 3rd party again next time.
