our school did a play once (called "all in the timing") that was actually 6 mini-plays. one of them was called "variations on the death of trotsky." it was exactly what it sounds like-three cast members, trotsky, his wife, and their gardener, and trotsky would die/be murdered/kill himself in a different way each time.
