I've got this writing bug in me. I want to write a bunch of different entries in qeox, but whenever I see a big long list of entries by one person on my friends page I tend to want to skip them because of the time-intensive nature of sitting and reading diatribes and always promise that I'll come back later and read it thoroughly (but I never get

I actually don't mind one bit that you post your thoughts through livejournal. I do think your thoughts and writings provoking and inspired. don't let yourself feel regret because of something you did. i'm sure you've heard/read the concept that you should regret the things that you havn't done, not the things you have done.

Heck, I've been at this seriously for a quarter of a century, published by several print houses and electronic publishing companies, and I'm -- not rich, but nobody turns my work down very often.

Let me give you the word. You don't have to wrap up a story all neat and tidy in the end. There will be things that happen that can't be remedied. If someone dies, they die. If the world you create develops a crack in it, you may have to work around it. That's okay, because that in itself is true to life, and life is what it's all about.

There are seeds of destruction in every good story/book opening. You need to soft-pedal it in most cases, because if you come on to heavy with it, you give too much away too soon. You have to pace that to keep people reading.
