Tying My Tubes

Okay, as promised, here's my entry on sterrilisation. These are all posts from Facebook, and though I'm putting them in the same entry, i'm breaking them up so that you can skip around if you'd like. The original was posted as a note explaining my situation and asking questions about Essure, Her Option, Tubal Ligation and the pill, the second one ( Read more... )

i've had general so many times it's hard to count, and you just.....wake up. serious. it's like you kind of are a bit groggy, then all of a sudden you are fine. you really want the general as they help you breathe, and that is a good thing. trust me.

i had a problem with my tubal, but that was the idiot who did it.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Cool about the anaesthesia. So it's not like being high or drunk where you get paranoied or don't know what you're saying/doing? That's a good thing. As I said, my doctor is very trustworthy. So if you're sure it was because of what your's did, that's at least somewhat of a relief. Not, of course, that I'd wish you a problem. It's just that I'm glad this isn't a normal reaction. I'm guessing it was painful due to that.

i also had undiagnosed pcos, which he should have seen when he had me open, and he also neglected to tell me that i was, oh, bleeding to death when he did it and that i had/have severe endometreosis which caused me to have pretty much non stop periods after i got my period back, finally, at 20 odd months post partum . it was hell. the ob oncologist that did the removal of the cervical cancer caught the endo, as it was apparently very obvious and she was shocked i got pregnant once, let alone twice ( ... )

What a horrifying excuse for a doctor! I would've sued his fucking ass off! Very rarely have I ever heard of anything that bad. Thank The Gods you're okay now from that experience ( ... )

You've really done your research, I think doctors respect that.

I have a Mirena hormonal IUD that I got because of heavy bleeding. I considered the ablation (Her Option) but my doctor's opinion was that the ablation can hide the symptoms of cervical cancer if you happen to get that. Honestly I kind of wish I'd gone with Her Option instead.
