I went to a production meeting today, Im part of the technical team for a theater production in august! But Im a bot nervous about it all. Almost everyone seemed to know each other, and when the meeting finished every body went off into their little groups to chat! Uwaaah! Fun! I was a scenic artist for a short time for a small theatre company, it's really fun. Most of the people who are into these things are quite eccentric enthusiasts doing it out of love I've found, all bought together by a common interest; very similar to the people at anime cons! XD I can relate to those "did I do okay" feelings... but I have found most of the time it's quite unfounded. As long as you have no prejudices and treat people politely, equally and with respect they have no reason to think of you as anything other than a good person. Arty types are reknowned for quietness so I wouldn't worry about those silences if I were you, everyone's probably jus as nervy as everyone else~ XD I'm sure you'll make a lot of good friends there once everyone eases up a bit~

wow I cant beliueve you were a sceanic artist! I totally want a job like that, I wqonder how hard it is to get into that business? :D

haha well I dont start until the middle of August, but I hope it will be fun! Youre right I should definately take photos or something. thanks for the reassurance, I feel more excited now, you're right, all the crazy laws of school kids are still subconciously with me haha! ^^;

thanks, I feel more excited then nervous now, thankfully :)
It seems like alot of people I know have done sceanic art, I didnt realise it was so easy to get a job like that!
