Writing groups

So, a while ago I joined this writing group called Nocturne.  It's a group dedicated to horror fiction, and the idea behind it is you post your short fiction on there, and other group members read it and provide critiques and suggestions for improvement.  Then, when they have something that needs critiquing, they do likewise and you can provide

I actually have a website, http://www.circleofcrones.com, that was designed to function in this way, and we password protected an efiction set up so our work did not count as published. We workshop entire novels, short stories, plays, fanfiction, you name it. It has died recently though. It's still there, but no one really participates on a level worth writing home about.

Keep me posted if you decide to do your own loop though. I'd definitely be interested.
