My nine favourite films of 2009. LImited, obviously, to the movies I saw, which means they're slanted heavily towards Hollywood, English-language stuff - it was that kind of year for me. No real metric of "objective quality" is in place here, it's just a question of how much I liked it.

I know you saw my tweet, but seriously, that movie creeped me out. I love psychological thrillers and I really think this one nailed it. It's an indie that was shot in 20 days. I have NEVER seen a performance that disturbed me to my core the way Steven McHattie did in this, and he's really only in the final act of the movie. And Ashley Greene doesn't disappoint either. So yeah, definitely check out Summer's Blood/Moon and let me know what you think.
