Hiya! *waves randomly* I'm from Sounis, and I stumbled upon your journal! I don't know much about Greek mythology, but your rant reminded me somewhat of a work that one of my favourite DeviantArtist makes. Just giving you a link so you can see what she's up to. She's also a very big fan of Hades, and lookie at her works!! Hades is so cute.
Ha you know what's really funny? I follow her MYth project. I have for a while! I have this total fascination *cough obsession cough* with greek mythology. I even drew pictures of greek goddesses for my friends christmas presents this year.
Thanks for the link though! And yes Hades is adorable!!!
Oh, you already do? That's great! Isn't she awesome? She's the main reason why I decided to take up fanarts. =D
I understand the obsession. It skipped me, but it found my sister, lol, and she's been taking a Greek mythology course. She's always telling me one story or another.
Ha when I tell people stories (it's usually just my one friend in one of my study halls) he just looks at me blankly. My mom used to tell me myths when I was little as bedtime stories, and after that they just kinda stuck. We actually had to learn about them last year in my Lang. Arts class. Me: YAY!!!! Everyone else: Ugh...
My goodness. It's like you read my mind. I was just ranting about this to a friend a few days ago. Persephone and Hades were my first ship ever. Hades is a sweetie pie, totally misunderstood. Zeus is a megalomaniac.
GREEK MYTHOLOGY SOULMATES.
Ps. You should really read Kate McMullan's Mythomania series. It's a funny rendition of Greek myths as told by Hades :)

Check her whole MYth project. I think you'll like it, because she's doing a retelling of Greek myths, but basically with Hades as the good guy.
And uhm, yeah, bye!
