its always fun for me to receive calls after im already asleep because its really only midway through the conversation that i realize im on the phone and then...once conscious enough to talk i start to think to myself...wait...how did i get on the phone? i really dont remember picking up. weird

I have the opposite problem - people call me a lazy assed bitch for being in bed so late when they call me in the morning (ok, afternoon!) :-S

it usually goes like this:
Me: "(just woken up voice) hello?"
person: "are you just up?!"
Me "(cough cough) eeh...no...i have a sore throat"

id love to record a conversation i had at that hour. i bet i sound like im drunk and have just been beaten up by someone, but for some reason had a good time. (im saying that i probably am really like..happy...like..soft-sounding.)

sometimes i'll wake up when im hanging up the phone and sayign goodbye to someone. then i have to call them later to ask them what we talked about. it's weird to hold conersations you can't really remember.
