I've enjoyed your recent comments on academics_anon, yet I can't help but think I've only gotten half of the joke. My girl and I have wondered whether or not theoria is entirely a spoof... Care to divulge? Does the username comprise more than one unhappy individual?

Not only do I exist, but I'm also only one person. Dodgeball isn't "a touch" -- nice or otherwise -- it is a way of life.

Ah-hah. I'd read dodgeball as a metaphor for academia. The above comment doesn't necessarily rule that out, but maybe I should try to take things at face value. Maybe.

Dodgeball is dodgeball; academia is academia. There is no connection between the two.
