Heh, thanks. I've been writing Baal for fanfic a couple of months, but it's interesting to get deeper into his head.

I can imagine he's a fun character to write because he's so layered and pretty awesome - certainly dark and angsty with a side helping of evilness.

Well, you've just earned yourself a virtual cookie for calling him layered - a lot of fans seem to just see him as the Evil Bad Guy That Tortured Jack, and not look any further.

He's a lot of fun. There is the darkness and the angst (I'm looking forward to dealing with the Anubis episodes...), but there's a lighter side to him as well. He can be quite playful, but like a cat with a mouse it still has that edge.
