Holy shit! I mean I know I'm off LJ almost all of the time and busy doing NaNo, but I had no idea such BS was going on! I'm so sorry you had to deal with all this. I'm struggling with my own health issues so I've been feeling particularly empathetic to yours and now this? Man, I can't express strongly enough how bad I feel that you had this experience. No one has the right to speak to you like that and while I didn't see any of what lead up to this post, I can't think of any excuse for it, seriously.

It's unfortunate that some people feel the need to be so negative. There can be so much joy in the world and even in fandom, but people choose a negative reaction anyway.
