Mwhahaha!!! I have discovered your LJ and now have ways of making you talk! (*takes out feather*)
I have to thank you a lot for introducing me to Hinda via the Exploding Jazz Machine. I met her in person at the Hillel during Passover and talked to her a bit about the summer, and long story short, she ended up getting me a job at the camp she works at, Camp Ramah! I'm going to be working as a one-on-one special needs counselor, which'll be a lot different than what I did last year as a fishing "specialist" (in quotes because I really knew jack about fishing) and'll be a great experience to have before hopefully nabbing a teaching job soon. Plus, even though no one works at a summer camp for the money, I have to cheer about Ramah paying me the same amount that Shalom in CT did, but only for HALF THE TIME! Rock n' Roll

Whoo congrats on the summer job! It's all about connections, baby. Haha but I still can't believe they made you a fishing "specialist" at your old camp (quotes or no quotes). I have a feeling it might be challenging/differnt at first but you're going to do soo owell at Camp Ramah; helping special needs children is such a great thing to experience.
Oh and have fun in the Californian sun, you lucky bastard.
