man, i wish i could write fight scenes. i was kinda wondering which one it was even though i saw the numbers. should have realized it'd be Theo. a bit different from the one i wrote, huh? ^^ but that's because a theory of mine.

i'm alittle surprised that he's in the military in general, wouldn't one if not both his parents be against it? or am i guessing part of the plot?

anyway i'm interested to see where you're going with this.

Well, I was thinking of doing a major edit on this; maybe even change the name before I post it on other websites. xD I felt like I just slapped it on LJ with the only title I could come up with.

Actually, yes, you are guessing part of the plot. Edward is quite against him being in the military (maybe even to the point of cutting off communication with him), as is Winry, and I'll explain that in more detail as the story goes on.

Glad you enjoyed it! ^^

Intriguing. I really enjoyed the descriptions of his boot camp sergeant, as well as the snowflakes.

I'm not quite sure about why Theo knocked out the enemy then took the time to draw an alchemy circle, though, when anyone could've come in range and shot him. Drawing circles takes a lot of time, as opposed to just jerking the gun out of his opponent's hand and shooting him. I think it would've made more sense if he'd secretly embroidered or drew his circle on his gloves or even on a piece of paper to carry with him.

Yeah, but I was thinking that Theo knew the Drachman had the death grip on that gun, and that it was unsafe to wrestle for the gun any further, so he decided to just take him out with his alchemy.

Oh, and I almost forgot:

He wouldn't have drawn the circles on his gloves due to his promise that he wouldn't resort to his alchemy (a promise that he didn't very well keep, obviously). Once again, there will be more description on that as the story goes on.
