Fuji kissed Eiji one day after practice.
It was bold and there wasn't any hesitation in his steps as he backed Eiji into the fence and pushed his tongue past Eiji's lips. He set his hands on Eiji's waist and even slipped one very slightly beneath the waistband of Eiji's pants, allowing the other trail just a few inches underneath his shirt. When he pulled away, Eiji's face was bright red and he left a kiss on the end of his nose before casually walking away.
Eiji didn't realize that anyone else was around until Momoshiro burst out laughing.
Eiji stood frozen in place with his fingers gripping the links of the fence, eyes wide open and mouth opening, closing, unable to form words.
"What was THAT all about?" Momoshiro said after he caught his breath.
"I...I..."
Eiji was still unable to move his feet. He then noticed that Echizen was also there. Hat brim pulled over his face, but his shoulders were shaking violently.
Eiji then remembered who the senior in this picture was.
"Ok listen! Both of you!" his voice shook. "You cannot tell anyone about this!"
Momoshiro snickered.
"No one?"
"No one! No one at all! Now...go! Home! Or wherever you were going!" He waved his arms around frantically.
He was the one who ended up storming off while Momoshiro and Echizen tried desperately to peel themselves from the ground.

Oishi decided to go for a jog on that same evening. Once his legs were tired, he stopped for a drink of water and to sit at a park bench. The rustling leaves of the bush behind him nearly made him jump and he turned around to see a distinct patch of red among the green.
"...Eiji? What are you doing in that bush?"
Eiji looked up at him with eyes like a lost puppy.
"...I'm hiding."
"From?" Oishi looked at him with genuine concern.
"Have you seen Fuji?" Eiji scoured the entire park with his eyes, but didn't move from his position.
It was safe there.
"No I haven't...what happened?"
"Shhh!" Eiji said and pointed.
He ducked behind the bench again. Oishi moved so that he'd be blocking Eiji from...whatever Eiji needed blocking from. And it was just in time as Kaidoh rounded the corner. Oishi waved at him, trying to look as natural as possible.
Apparently he was a horrible actor.
"Is there something wrong?" Kaidoh asked after slowing to a stop.
"Um no! Nothing at all! Just taking a break."
"O..k?"
Kaidoh pulled the towel from his shoulders and started drying his face and neck, still walking in place. When he moved the towel from his eyes, Fuji and Kawamura came into view. He greeted them. Oishi shifted uncomfortably.
"Have you seen Eiji at all, Oishi?" Fuji asked.
"N..no!" Oishi replied a little too quickly.
"Well if you see him could you tell him I'll be at home this evening? In case he wants to return the kiss. He'll know what I'm talking about."
The three of them gaped at Fuji.
Oishi suddenly realized that he wasn't being a very good shield anymore.
Eiji was too busy begging the ground to swallow him whole to notice.
"Then let's go, Taka-san?" Fuji turned to leave. Kawamura waved as they left.
Kaidoh turned a brilliant shade of red when he finally noticed Eiji in the bush.
"This..." he looked from Eiji to the ground and back again "...is none of my business."
He picked up the pace of his stationary walk, leaning forward and ready to bolt.
"Kaidoh! Wait!" Eiji yelled. "You can't tell any--"
"It's none of my business!"
He tried his best to make the sprint look like a jog.
Oishi turned when the coast was clear.
"You can come out now."
"...I kind of like it back here." He was twisting a dead leaf between his fingers.
"Is that true? What Fuji said?"
The leaf soon turned into a brownish powder.
"It was in front of people! It was awful, Oishi!"
"You probably could have stopped him..."
"I couldn't!"
"You shouldn't be going around letting people kiss you and--"
"HE kissed ME! I had nothing to do with it!"
Eiji came from behind the bench, fists curled tightly, and made a bee line for Fuji's house.
---
Fuji had told the details to his older sister who agreed that it was a good plan. She'd even asked if he needed any help, but he assured her that everything was under control.
While Eiji had never explicitly said that he had a thing for his doubles partner, it was written all over his face whenever he mentioned Oishi. It became painfully obvious the week before when a girl from Oishi's fanclub had flung herself on him and kissed him on the cheek, leaving him and the rest of the girls completely flustered. Fuji had seen the whole thing and watched Eiji fume about how she shouldn't be jumping on him like that and what if she twisted his injured wrist and any other reasons why her action was inexcusable.
But Fuji noticed one thing that Eiji didn't. He noticed that Oishi noticed. The plan was set into motion shortly after that.
Fuji's sister lied and said that Fuji wasn't home when Eiji showed up pounding at the door.
---
The next day seemed like one long game of "keep the eyes off of Eiji" as rumor spread fast. Fuji made sure of it.
He also made sure to mention that he planned to do the same thing to Oishi after practice as he had to Eiji the day before. He mentioned this in front of Inui. Everyone else knew about an hour after that, including Oishi who made his own plan to leave practice early.
So when Fuji saw Oishi ready to escape he made his move, walking over to him in deliberate strides, swaying his hips just slightly enough to be noticed.
From Oishi's standpoint, Fuji may as well have been a three headed monster ready to rip him apart.
Oishi clutched the links of the fence in much the same way Eiji had the previous afternoon.
Eiji's first instinct was to let it happen, after all Oishi had accused HIM of letting it happen, let's see how HE dealt with a determined Fuji, but as Fuji got closer the look of terror in Oishi's eyes struck a nerve and he ran to intervene.
He was only about ten feet away from the scene, but it seemed like a mile for all his legs were worth, he jumped and reached out, aiming for Fuji's shoulders so that he could turn him around and tell him what was really on his mind and at the very last moment...Fuji sidestepped.
Eiji landed on Oishi close enough to feel his breath.
"You're probably mad that I took the first kiss." Fuji said and they both turned when he spoke. "Small price to pay, right? You can have all the rest."
The last thing Fuji saw was both of them turning an impossible shade of red, but not once backing away from the entanglement.
He waved goodbye and left them to figure out the rest.
