These aren't really proper fics, but they're some short ficlets I wrote ages ago and I realized I never posted them! So I just wanted to share. :D
Everyone/Maru, In which Maru is a bicycle, R
Yasu is involved with Subaru. Maru doesn't know what "involved" means, exactly, but that's the only way he can think of to describe it. Neither of them talk about it with anyone else, but the involvement is clearly there. So how Maru stumbles into bed with Yasu is confusing, because he's not sure if he's overstepping any boundaries, but if Yasu says it's okay and Yasu dictates the pace, then maybe it's okay for Maru to go along with him. Maybe Yasu and Subaru are having rough patch. Maybe Yasu is just lonely. He pulls Maru's shirt off quietly, kisses his neck and his chin and his cheeks and never really kisses his lips. But Maru doesn't suppose this is for his benefit. He's okay with being someone Yasu can take this out on, and he's okay with Yasu doing whatever it is that he needs. But he is happy, in the morning, when Yasu kisses him properly and smiles.
With Subaru, it happened years ago, just the once when they were touring and they weren't sharing a hotel room, but they were up so late drinking and carrying on that Hina packed up to stay with Ohkura instead. Maru wishes, a little, that the one time he was with Subaru they hadn't both been so drunk. It was so natural and easy with him, but drinking clouds the senses and he wonders what Subaru would have been like without any filters. And now that there is the "involvement", Maru doesn't think it would be a good idea to try again.
Yoko makes one too many jokes about kissing Maru and Maru finally takes him up on it only to find that it's much more awkward than he could have ever anticipated. Yoko is all talk, but that shouldn't have been a surrpise. What does surprise him is how it goes from the act of proving a point to a real kiss so quickly.
Uchi happens while Maru is sleeping over at his house. They're watching a movie, then they're talking about the movie, then they're talking about how the lead actor looked kind of like Ohkura. Then they're talking about everyone both of them know and knew and then Uchi is on top of him and they're both lying on the couch. As if it's just a part of the conversation. Uchi takes control, and Maru likes to be controlled and when it's over, they talk about what's on TV again.
Hina is completely by accident. Maru doesn't even think any amount of flirting will work on him,but he turns out to be wrong. The funny part is that Hina isn't even drinking, they're just leaving a show together - a play that Maru wanted to see and Hina went with him. He's not being serious when he suggests a hotel room, and he doesn't even know if Hina is at first, but they don't go to a hotel anyway. They go to Hina's apartment and Maru ends up on the floor, on his hands and knees, and he really, really doesn't mind being wrong.
Ryo is a little hard to figure out because it seems like he's frustrated, more than Maru has seen him in a while, and then they're alone together after a concert and all of that tension turns into something else. Ryo isn't shy, he isn't hesitant, and that's what takes Maru aback. But he doesn't mind Ryo's rough hands, moving into his touch. He doesn't mind how fast it happens and how quickly it's over because Ryo seems like there is a weight off of his shoulders when they're done.
It's totally unexpected with Ohkura. He thinks maybe Ohkura didn't mean for it to happen at all, but they're sharing a hotel room and when Maru goes to wake Ohkura up in the morning, he suddenly finds himself with Ohkura's arms around him, being pulled onto the bed. He's pretty sure Ohkura was in that space between dreaming and awake, maybe thinking about someone else entirely. The only reason Maru doesn't say anything is because he's afraid of embarrassing Ohkura, but after a while it becomes clear Ohkura is awake, and still okay with what they're doing, which amounts to lazy handjobs in the early morning. After which Ohkura is much more sleepy than usual, and rationalizes that both of them should probably just call in sick that day.
It occurs to Maru, standing in the hallway outside of Yoko's apartment, that it really has been everyone. He goes inside when Yoko opens the door for him
"Maybe I'm just easy to get along with..." he mumbles, thinking aloud.
But Yoko answers. "Or you're just easy," he laughs while closing the door behind him.
Maru wonders if it could happen again with Yoko. He hasn't tried since then, and neither has Yoko, but after the initial tension it really wasn't awkward at all, and it wasn't that way afterwards... The one thing that would make Yoko avoid it at all costs.
He wonders if maybe if they drank a little and relaxed and he touched him by "chance", or maybe it doesn't have to be subtle. Maybe he can just say it. He's fallen into a lot of circumstances, but when he thinks about it, this is the one place he really wants to end up again.
Hina/Yoko, Pornstars AU, R
Hina overhears some of the staff talking.
"Well he looks nervous."
"Think it's his first time?"
When he first got into this business, Hina remembers being surprised by how quickly everything happens. He meets a new colleague, and moments later they're in bed together. But Hina supposes it's as good a way as any to break the ice.
He hasn't seen the nervous guy that the staff is talking about yet, but he supposes they'll be introduced rather quickly and then told which positions to use. But Hina's been doing this for so long that he's comfortable, and even if the new guy is a little nervous, maybe Hina's confidence will be reassuring.
...what he doesn't expect is that the guy is a total bundle of nerves. He's attractive and has nice, full lips, but he looks like he's shaking all over. He also has a nervous giggle that escapes every time anyone speaks to him. Then he starts chewing on his finger.
"You okay?" Hina asks him.
"...yes?"
Hina looks him up and down. It's not like he's all that young. What could make him want this kind of career change?
"You need to be a little more confident in this business, you know!" Hina says.
"Hey, I just got here! Don't... be hard on me okay?" He says the last part quietly.
Hina laughs a deep, belly laugh. "Come on!" he says. "Shake it off!"
"Oh, this is Yoko," the director says to Hina, absently.
Hina nods.
"Murakami," he says to Yoko.
Hina thinks maybe Yoko would be nodding if he wasn't frozen in place.
"How about something simple," the director says, chewing on a pen. "You bend him over the bed."
He points at Hina first, Yoko second.
But Yoko doesn't even make it past a minute worth of film. He's already giggling before they're completely out of their clothes. It's such a disaster that the director tells Yoko to leave for the day, says he'd fire him on the spot for being so unprofessional if he didn't have the looks.
Yoko gathers his things in the dressing room, looking at the floor ruefully.
"Guess I'm just not cut out for it..." he says.
Hina notices he's a lot less shaky than he was when he first arrived. But he's still a little worked up from when they started filming, and maybe Yoko is too because they wind up jerking each other off pressed up against the wall. Hina doesn't know if he started it or if Yoko did, but it happens so quickly that it nearly makes him dizzy. Maybe he's been in this business for too long when something spontaneous like this excites him so much that he's thinking about it long after the fact. All the way home and up until he's lying in bed by himself with his hand around his dick and thinking about that new, nervous guy at work.
The next day during filming, Yoko isn't shaking quite so much.
Hina/Yoko, Crack!Mpreg? >_>, PG
"OW!" Yoko cries in the middle of the night and Hina shoots up in bed.
"What? Huh?" Hina says, groping for the light.
"It kicked me!"
"I think they do that."
"Hard!" Yoko whines.
"Well that's how you know it's mine!"
"Who the hell else would it be..." Yoko grumbles.
"Ready to go back to sleep?" Hina asks.
Yoko glares, but then he yawns, rendering any glaring a little pointless.
"Are you ready to go back to sleep?" Hina asks Yoko's belly.
"Oh, come on..." Yoko says, but when he feels Hina's warm hands on his tummy, he can't help but smile, even if he hides it behind his hand.
"Well, this is nice," Yoko says. "Too bad he's going to be raised in a home of domestic violence."
"Hey!" Hina says, whacking him on the back of the head. At the same time, Yoko feels another sharp kick.
"Owww," he moans, looks up at Hina.
Realizes exactly what he's gotten himself into.
"Well, good night!" Hina says, cheerfully, while Yoko stares at the ceiling and wonders if he's ever going to sleep again.
Hina/Yoko, Crack!Vampire!AU?, PG
Among vampires, there is an unspoken rule - you feed in your own territory. There is competition, of course. Some territories are better than others. But, it's generally agreed that spacing out brings up less suspicion. And there is more than enough food to go around.
Yoko's territory has been a big park in the heart of Osaka for more than two hundred years. It's been his for so long that everyone knows it. He doesn't even give it much thought when one of his kind wanders in. They're free to roam around as much as they want, but if he sees them going after any of his food...
And someone that raises Yoko's suspicions enters the park that night just after sunset. Yoko watches him kick around a soccer ball for a while (really, who does that in the middle of the night?) but then knows it's one of his kind when he sees the man flash a smile at a woman passing by and his fangs are visible in the street lights. Yoko doesn't like the way he was eying that girl.
"Oy," he says, in warning.
"Hey!" the man says. "Do I know you?"
"No."
"Well, I'm Murakami. So you know me now!" he laughs and it grates on Yoko's ears.
"This is my park," Yoko says. As if he really has to say that! Obviously this guy is new.
"I'm pretty sure it's a public park," Murakami says, dribbling his soccer ball a short ways and then kicking it into a wall.
"No..." Yoko says. "I mean it's my park."
"Ah," Murakami says. "I see."
He slaps Yoko on the back and nods sympathetically.
"I mean it!" Yoko says. "Get out!"
He puts both hands on Murakami's shoulders. They're surprisingly warm...
Then Yoko realizes. It should have been obvious! He can't be one of Yoko's kind. He doesn't seem like the type that anyone would turn. This guy is more walking gorilla than walking dead.
Yoko chuckles to himself, then he tightens his grip on Murakami's shoulders, licking his lips and positioning him to find the sweetest spot on his neck.
"Hey!" Murakami shouts. It happens so fast that Yoko hardly has the time to blink. Murakami gets out of his grip with a well-timed kick and when Yoko lets go of him Muarakami holds tight to both of his wrists. They both stare at each other for just long enough to take a breath. And then Murakami bites him.
"OW!" Yoko cries, holding his arm. He doesn't even remember feeling any pain for the last century. What kind of freakish teeth does this guy have?!
He stands there, whimpering, while Murakami disappears into the outskirts of the park. His park! Dammit!
It takes a bigger man to admit he's been defeated, but luckily Yoko doesn't have to do that. It's been two hundred years, and he's never done it before. But he disposes of the next soccer player he sees, just to take his ball. And he waits.
Ryo/Uchi, The morning after, PG
Ryo, despite being slightly hungover in the morning, remembers everything. He remembers too much beer and Uchi somehow taking up nearly the entire backseat of the cab. He remembers how Uchi tasted like alcohol in the elevator ride up to his apartment. How Uchi started all of this like it was... such a natural thing for them to do. As if they did it all the time. And how Ryo went along with it because it did feel that way - too easy.
But it wasn't like that. It was the first time. Maybe the only time. Maybe they can't even be friends anymore.
And now they're at work, expected to act like nothing has changed. Ryo thinks that if he had planned this out (not that he could have planned this out), he would have put some space between... what happened last night and the next time he had to see the rest of the members. And the managers. And the staff. All asking him if everything is okay.
"Fine," he says through his teeth. Over and over again.
Every time Uchi looks at him, he looks quickly away. It's just too much heat rising up in his chest, in his throat, up to where he knows it'll be showing on his face. He can't get the image out of his mind of Uchi sprawled out on his bed, naked and shameless - the most inviting image Ryo's ever seen.
He'll never get it out of his head now. When Ryo looks at Uchi, Uchi faces him. Looks right at his eyes, and it's different than any other look that's come between them
Maybe they can't be friends. Maybe they have to be something else.
Subaru/Yasu, Looking back, G
Yasu hears about it, but doesn't visit the record store until he has the actual need to buy a record.
He heard about Subaru opening up his own shop, just like everyone else did, and he thought about going more times than he could count, but after not seeing someone for that many years it's too hard to know what to say.
Or there is just too much to say.
There is one time, Yasu remembers, when it could have happened. Maybe it should have happened. But he remembers sometime on their last tour, being with everyone after a concert. They all went out to eat in a big group with the juniors and the staff and Subaru, too tired to stay out very long, excused himself to go back to the hotel.
Yasu thinks he remembers the way Subaru looked at him, like he was trying to say something with his eyes. Evidently something Yasu didn't understand quickly enough.
They were sharing a room at the hotel and Yasu came back much later, long after Subaru had gone to sleep. It was a funny mistake. He should have turned on the light. He didn't mean to try to get into Subaru's bed. And Subaru didn't wake up at first, just rolled over so that his hip was under Yasu's hand.
And then the memory gets a little fuzzy. But he remembers Subaru's hip, Subaru groaning in protest to being woken up. He remembers the urge to be closer to Subaru, how he slipped his hand behind Subaru's head, threading fingers through his hair, and how he almost kissed him only to lose his nerve and hover there until he was sure Subaru was sleeping again.
He remembers not sleeping that night, not sleeping the night after that. Thinking about how this was their last tour together, with emotions running high, and how the timing was bad and wasn't the right place...
He pushes the door to the record store open, a "it's been a long time..." already forming on his tongue. Subaru doesn't look any different. How long has it been?
No small talk. Just an empty record store. Yasu goes to the counter and it's Subaru's fists holding the front of Yasu's shirt, pulling. Doing what Yasu should have done those years ago, and he opens up his lips against Subaru's, closing his eyes, wondering why they let all of those years go by without this. It's like a wave, building in intensity then washing away leaving Yasu clutching tightly to Subaru's shoulders.
"It's been a long time," Subaru says, with more than half a smile.
