20 facts about Kawamura Takashi

1. Taka isn't really sure what he wants to do when he grows up. The path set out for him seems all right but he hasn't given it much thought. It suits him, it suits his family, and it's probably a better future than he could come up with on his own.
2. He has two slight injuries that no one has ever known about. They're probably not very bad or worth fussing over.
3. The burning thing started out as a bit of a joke when he was first starting to get his bearings on the tennis court. He thought it was fun to be someone else for a little while. When he realized that maybe it wasn't someone else it made him a little afraid. Now he just enjoys the freedom during and is a little confused about why he enjoys it after.
4. He calls Akutsu Jin about once every two weeks even though most of the time Akutsu just hangs up. He usually calls a little after dinner time as he finds that Akutsu is usually home then.
5. He likes possibilities. He doesn't like uncertainty. Sometimes he feels a little trapped between the two.
6. There is a collection of old records in his house that he likes to listen to. They make him think of old fashioned things. Sometimes his parents listen to them late at night and he always finds that he sleeps the best on those nights.
7. Playing doubles with Fuji is something he both likes and dislikes. On one hand, Fuji is a very capable player (to say the least) and he doesn't really need to worry. On the other, he worries more for reasons he doesn't completely understand.
8. Fuji, in general, is a subject he's put a lot of thought into. And for all of the thought, he hasn't drawn many conclusions.
9. Momoshiro comes to eat at the restaurant sometimes and is quite talkative after a little sake. Taka won't ever tell anyone what he's says.
10. Momoshiro isn't the first one to put his trust in him. He likes that people think they can trust him. And does his best to make sure they won't ever say otherwise.
11. He always feels a little bit restless and never completely sits down. That way he's always ready to jump back up again.
12. Taka was a boyscout. He still has his first pocket knife and a lot of fond memories. He would have liked to stay in it a little longer, but his parents thought he might like karate more. They were right. Then later they were right again about tennis.
13. He wishes they were more right about sushi making. But, it's a bonding experience with his dad and that's something he treasures, even if he's not as passionate about sushi itself.
14. And the way Fuji smiles after a batch of wasabi sushi isn't all bad either.
15. Summer has always been his favorite season because he loves the clear, blue skies.
16. There is a girl who lives down the street that his dad invites to the restaurant sometimes. She's become friends with his sister and reminds him, just a little bit, of his mom. Momoshiro thinks this is hilarious.
17. He has been called both a sturdy rock and a reckless mess. By the same people.
18. He will never, ever shave his sideburns.
19. He does not get attached. And thinks it's probably best if no one is too attached to him.
20. But when he calls someone a friend he means it and never takes it back.
