Whomever is trying to anonymously spam this livejournal with stuff related to the thread I started on the abelist use of the word crazy and my frustration with people complaining that spending a few moments thinking of something that doesn't contribute to further marginalization is just too hard... first of all, I automagically screen anonymous ( Read more... )

I've only seen two IP adresses both sort of local to one another, so for all I know, it's one dude or dudette, but in any event, now none can say I haven't addressed the matter.

I dunno. While I'd rather there not be any shit-stirring at all, I will admit there is a tiny part of my that is amused by seeing shit-stirrers flail behind comments that no one else will see.

Sorry about the anonymous person posting on your LJ. I'm curious: If they signed their name to the comments, would you then approve them and answer them? Or were they so offensive that you would have deleted them no matter what?

Honestly, it would depend on the comment, and my energy levels. I *try* to be as fair as possible, but I don't always have the energy. And since this is my little chunk of interweb, I don't always have to be.

Usually, anonymous comments left here have been blatant trolling or shit-stirring. Occasionally,they have useful, thought provoking, or otherwise worthwhile content. Sometimes comments have been left here by friends or family members without LJ accounts; that's pretty much the reason why I screen anonymous comments instead of disallowing them outright.

The IPs don't match and unles you are the AXGRINDER FROM THE MESSAGE BOARD, and had some shitty, harassing things to say about my post there, use of the word crazy, and ableism, then no, it wasn't. you.
