From creating Earthworm Jim to criticizing some guy on Livejournal, Doug's come a long way.

Why's he care? Did you post about him or something?

I mentioned his comment in that post he made where he, a white guy, tells an Asian women what real Asian culture was, so yeah. BUt that was a tail-end ETA.

Also according to his, I love money more than Asian people, and I'm leading an oversentive Asian feeling witch hunt. I made fun of him not having anything netter to do and told him some dude on xange is hating on catscratch, and left it at that. :P

Someone who feels that it's absolutely necessary to cite himself as an "abortion abolitionist" on his goddamn twitpic profile is not someone whose opinions I value all that much.

Earthworm Jim hasn't been relevant since I was 15 years old. And I was 15 years old a looong time ago.

Actually, his whole journal is kind of lulzy.

Shakespeare wasn’t raised on academic parenting techniques, he was raised on the wisdom of the ages. You don’t get a Dante from Dr. Spock’s parenting books… you get the generation that invented MTV.

Or you get widespread illiteracy with the exception of a chosen few, a society that forbids females from writing, sky-high infant mortality rates, and plagues and bacterial infections for everyone else.

Hey, know what else came from the MTV generation? Video games, ya doosh.

I read my kids those first four words of Genesis, “In the beginning, God…” and I stop. Within four words the Bible has already pissed off most of my employers, most of the philosophers I read, many in the arts community and many of my neighbors here in Los Angeles (come on, you live a city named after angels). There’s little more offensive than to claim that God existed in history, is really there and that this can be known.

"Help! I'm being opressed!"

Yeah, dang. I've bought a couple of his comics when I found them, since I like his inking, but one of them was only sort of okay and the other suddenly pulled out this "PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHES YOU NOTHING BUT GARBAGE" nonsense that was really, really off-putting.

Yeah, I think he homeschools his kids. Poor things.
