seems like you have some really negative feelings about this.
...so why did you sign up for the draft and not wait to sign up for the marines or airforce later?

I just feel chained by it, restricted if you will.
I am trying to think of what I'll do about it, but I really don't know. If I take a year off "to see the world" I may just... with them. If that is going to be the case, I think I'll stay in school. So, I'm thinking that I'll take my year off after Bush and his policies are outta any decision making. Besides, if I sign up for any military branch, they get me for a number of years. If they start the draft, I'll sign up for one of those branches, if they don't, then I won't have to worry, now will I?

Yeah, I mean- I totally get that, but I was just confused about how you said you were all signed up for it- but it seemed like you really hated it, which is understandable.
Im not critisizing your decision, just wondering about what you said.
Heh- another thing about the draft I guess is just that its when THEY decide, not you- where as if you just sign up later, its your choice to do it then.

^_^ Like I said, not critisizing, Im just kind of thinking it through...outloud. -_-
