To put it in perspective: when I was very little, I bit my tongue completely off. They had to sew it back on, which is why my tongue is shorter than a normal person's tongue and why I have a strange dent and a lump in the center of it. You'll be fine. :P The only thing that my injury has caused is the inability to pronounce the "rr" in Spanish.
