"Nope. And apparently, the party's just getting started." Greaaat. More time-traveling types. Didn't he get enough of that with Booster? Apparently not, because whatever this place was, he and Babs were definitely outnumbered.
"So, uh, welcome. I guess. This place doesn't look very welcoming, does it?" Ted tends to ramble when he's nervous. He doesn't look it, but this place is putting him on edge a bit.
He glances down at the current uniform and laughs, awkwardly.
"For the records, I don't normally dress like this. It's quite a story-" Then he pauses, the second comment catching up to him. "Beg your pardon? Are you meaning to tell me that this isn't 1944?"

The woman takes him by surprise. His first instinct is that she's a horrible victim of the war - and his heart goes out to her.
"I ... Is everything all right here?" Note his hesitance.

One look at the man tells Archie that he's probably not big on films, and, indeed, there seems to be something peculiar about him in general.
"In fact, I was just in France." He'll pass by the language issue.
