OOC - Eek! So sorry! I forgot not to wait for an e-mail telling me there was a response to a comment! Also - we'll finish this thread out (because Mary is lovely), but then unfortunately due to lack of time from mun, Rude is being withdrawn from T_M, and from RP. :(

Mary's house is a well preserved brownstone near the park. She has a mezuzah next to the door. Her living room is done in shades of white and gold. There's a lot of expensive antiques, paintings of angels from the Italian Renaissance, and a small table crowded with icons of the early saints.

Mary gestures to the couch. "Sit and relax." She kicks off her high heels and pads down the hall to her bedroom, hoping some embarrassing relative won't pop up again.

Rude sinks down into the couch and takes a look around; it's tasteful and cheerful, and there seems to be a decent amount of gorgeous old religious items. He leans down to examine a small icon of St. Peter on the table.

Mary shimmies into a pair of jeans and a sweater. She grabs a pair of socks and some sensible sneakers and jams them on her feet.

"It's a remarkable likeness,"Mary comments as she returns to the living room, pulling her thick red hair back with an elastic.
