Wedding Season
Wedding season is in full swing and Chris was my first "and guest" ever!! It was a beautiful ceremony and reception for my friend Sarah here in San Diego. Having Chris by my side was crucial because I actually only knew 2 other people at the wedding!

Meet The Parents
Today I met my boyfriend's family. HUGE. It was wonderful. Absolutely perfect. I couldn't have hoped for a more perfect day. His parents are wonderful. Such sweet people. His cousin Kelly is a riot. His sister is funny and obviously a great mom. His brother in law was awesome. His niece and nephew were so cute. Apparently everyone liked me a lot ( Read more... ) -

Last night, my boyfriend hypothetically asked me where we would get married.
The fact that I wasn't alarmed and didn't really freak out means a lot.
I've totally thought about it too.

My Aunt Catie
My Aunt Catie passed away today at 5:58pm. She died peacefully with her husband Glen and my mom by her side. Frank Sinatra's "My Way" was playing as she drifted off. That was one of Papa's (my grandfather) favorite songs and my aunt's favorite singers. Now I like to think that she has been reunited with her parents up in heaven. Probably dancing. Today Chris and I discussed when we started dating and what day would count from. Officially our first date was Saturday, October 20, 2012. 10/20/12. Easy enough to remember, right? That means we have new together for four and a glad months. Incredible.

Deep down, in the deepest part of my heart, I know that a decision I made on December 16th was the right one. That decision has made me so incredibly happy since and might possibly for a very long time to come.
But I always wonder...what if??
What if I hadn't ended things with R right then?
What if I had waited, maybe until after the holidays?

The Big Game!
The only thing that could have made today more perfect than it was already was would be if the Niners had won the Super Bowl. But that's okay. It was a hard fought game and I had a blast watching it. It was nice to truly care about the game. I actually cried when the game was over.
